This course is intended for the professional who is interested in becoming a better teacher or trainer, the experienced educator looking for a refresher or anyone looking to develop their ability to lead in a digital environment.

Outcomes: Upon successfully completing this course the student will:

  • Understand what defines an adult learner
  • Recall the traditional learning methods
  • Evaluate the design of a syllabus and related outcomes
  • Develop course and content design and development ideas
  • Understand methods of engagement
  • Learn the basics of assessment and grading
  • Improve ability to provide feedback

Delivery: this course is self-paced and can be started and stopped as the student wishes.

Outline: Each section is estimated to take 20-30 minutes to complete. Total course time to complete is approximately 2-hours.
